Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Harriman has recently opened a new Instructional Service Center in Oak Ridge. TCAT-Harriman Director, Danice Turpin, announced the new site will house a Welding Technology program.This will be a partnership with Roane State Community College and will allow welding students to complete one year of training with the TCAT, earning a diploma in Welding Technology. Students will then be able to continue their training to earn an advanced welding certificate through Roane State.
